NBHD ZX700 BOAT

I’m actually most excited in writing about this shoe, mostly because it’s Neighborhood or more commonly known as NBHD. I am a big fan of the Japanese street wear industry and NBHD is one of the most respected brands out there. Headed by Shinsuke Takizawa, the brand is heavily influenced by the biker culture. In fact, according to some insider info, there was some difficulty for Adidas to make this collaboration happen due to the fact that NBHD doesn’t really do runner sneakers which is what the ZX models are, however they were able to compromise by offering the ZX 700 which is Adidas’ take on the boat shoe.

This probably will be the most hyped shoe for this batch, if not for the whole project. The tones selected by NBHD is black and white, which is the common color combinations which they use for most of the stuff in their line. It works effectively and gives that simple but striking look. Many people have said that there are similarities to Visvim FBT, I can say that maybe there is an influence to it as NBHD has collaborated with Visvim for quite a number of times now.

Nike Air Max PHANTACi

Taiwan store PHANTACi worked with Nike on the “Grand Piano” Air Max 1. The sneaker was designed by artist Jay Chou and the PHANTACi team. Therefore the main inspiration was also the pink signature color of the store and of course the piano. Limited to only 400 pairs worldwide, the sneaker will release in the near future. More info on the project will follow this week.

LEBRON JAMES AF1 (SAMPLE)

While there has been a lot of commotion around the Nike 1World Air Force 1 collaboration project as well as Lebron James and his new Nike signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Lebron VI, there hasn’t been any new Nike Air Force 1’s inspired by Lebron for a while, until now. Here is a look at an upcoming pair of Nike Air Force 1 Supreme’s inspiredy by Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers colors. Nike decided to step out of the box on this Supreme Air Force 1 with the suede and perforated leather used on the shoe’s upper in addition to the very dope colorway of Tan/Cream mixed with Maroon. Additionally for those of you Lebron fans out there, check out the Nike “LJ23″ logo sewn into the heel of the shoe. As an added bonus this Air Force 1 Supreme will feature a visible heel Air unit as well. No word on when these will be released but you can cop a sample pair (Size 9) on ebay now price usd4000
